Airport parking – two of the most dreaded words in the English language. Your trip is booked and now you have to worry about how to park your car at the airport while you’re gone. Luckily, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has plenty of parking options to choose from. Keep reading for information on the different parking areas and parking rates.

Cell Phone Lot

Instead of circling around the parking lot checking if your passenger has arrived and come out to the curb, take advantage of the free Cell Phone Lot. There are three lots that are available 24 hours. The lots are located east of Terminal 4, west of the West Economy Garage and south of the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. Keep in mind that the Cell Phone Lots are designed to be used for 30 minutes or less. You must remain in your vehicle at all times. Parking and leaving your vehicle in the Cell Phone Lot is not permitted.

Each lot is equipped with electronic signs displaying the status of the flights. Once you see that your passenger’s flight has arrived, allow time for them to retrieve their luggage and proceed to the curb before driving over to pick them up.

Valet Parking

Perhaps the easiest and most straightforward way to park your vehicle at the airport is to use Valet parking. Valet parking truly makes Pheonix airport parking simple. You’ll find drop off points at the east end of Level 1 inside of the Terminal 3 garage as well as at the east or west end of Level 4 inside of the Terminal 4 garage. You can choose to book your reservation online in advance or use the walk-up service on your arrival. You can’t put a price on convenience, but if you did, it would be $39 a day. For an additional cost, you can request other services such as an oil change or a car wash.

Garage/Lot Parking

If you don’t mind parking your own car, you have options for that as well. There are several garages and parking lots to choose from. The least expensive are the 24th Street Express Pay Parking area and the uncovered East Economy lot. Both of these parking options will cost you $4 per hour with a daily maximum of $14.

If you would rather have your vehicle protected from the elements, choose one of the garage parking areas. The West and East Economy covered parking garages will cost $4 per hour with a daily maximum of $16. The Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 Garages will come with a fee of $4 per hour with a daily maximum of $30.

All of these options are meant for travelers who need to park their vehicles at the airport for an extended period of time.

Parking Meters

For those who are picking up or dropping off a passenger, you have the option of using the 44th St. Sky Train Station. The parking meters there will cost $4 per hour and are intended for short term parking only. You can choose to ride the Sky Train over to the terminal with your passenger, avoiding needing to drive over to the airport.

What Is The Parking Process?

From the East Economy lot, including Garages A and B, you can either walk to your gate or take the PHX Sky Train. For your convenience, the Sky Train travels between Terminals 3 and 4 as well as the 24th Street Express Parking.
